Indigita's 2022 Annual Sustainability Report

As Indigita continues to grow, we remain committed to promoting sustainability, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of our business. The beginning of a new year is a great occasion to summarise and demonstrate accomplishments, define new meaningful initiatives and sustainable goals. It is with great pleasure that we present to you Indigita’s first Annual Sustainability Report, which outlines the progress we have made until now.


Since its foundation in 2016, Indigita has been growing steadily aiming at becoming not only a key market player but also an attractive employer. We believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace not only benefits our talents, but also enriches our overall business and better serves Indigita’s diverse clientele.


Today, with the company’s headquarters located in Geneva, Switzerland, we proudly run offices in Zurich and Lugano, and a team of developers located in Lisbon, Portugal. Our company counts with a balanced number of employees, 45% of which are women and 55% of which are men, all with an average age of 34 years old, demonstrating our young and vigorous organisation.


Employee Diversity, Inclusion and Competencies


The diversity within our company is one of our greatest strengths. Indigita’s employees come from different geographical backgrounds and count with a rich set of languages such as Albanian, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Moroccan Arabic, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish, which highlights our multicultural environment and company inclusion.


Our employees also come with a variety of professional qualifications and skills that not only increase our business competencies, but also add valuable perspectives, allowing our company to have a wider and more holistic business approach in terms of decision-making and problem solving.


Some of these qualifications come from the fields of Consulting, Engineering, Finance & Banking, IT & Software Development, e-Learning Development, Marketing & Communication, Project Management, and Sales, to mention a few.


Additionally, we encourage our employees to pursue ongoing learning opportunities and support them in staying up to date on the latest industry trends and best practices. In that sense, only in 2022, we provided further knowledge and competencies in the fields of Cybersecurity, GDPR, General Management, ISO Certification, Negotiation, Scrum, and Software Development, among other workshops that occurred throughout the year.



Employee Loyalty and Satisfaction Level


As a result of our annual anonymous satisfaction survey, our employees rated Indigita highly positively, emphasising their satisfaction towards the workplace and office infrastructure, followed by the positive social environment, and confirming their commitment towards our company in the mid-term future, consequently making our company an attractive place for professional growth and sustainable success.



Digital Solutions and Users


When it comes to our digital solutions, Indigita has been steadily developing and upgrading its suite of solutions. As of today, more than 2000 financial professionals relied on the cross-border and compliance guidance provided by Indigita’s inApp, and more than 4000 financial professionals have been trained and certified with Indigita’s e-Learning courses, which enhanced their professional knowledge and ensured compliance with the current training obligations.


What’s more, our e-Learning courses reached a total number of 27 online trainings in 2022, including Cross-Border, Compliance, and Risk Management topics, covering more than 190 jurisdictions thanks to the knowledge contained in the Country Manuals published by BRP Bizzozero & Partners SA and BRP Tax SA.



Future Initiatives


As we look into the future, and knowing that there is always room for improvement, we have already defined our objectives and initiatives for 2023, which will allow Indigita to further operate in an even more sustainable and responsible manner. During this year, we aim at improving our environmental impact by reducing our CO2 footprint and by incorporating the ESG ratings into our flagship product inApp, consequently contributing to the sustainable finance.


For all the above, Indigita feels deeply honoured to have such a talented and skillful team of professionals, which will continue to expand in 2023, together with its powerful digital solutions, recognised online trainings and growing company expertise.
