International Sanctions

The International Sanctions e-Learning course provides a comprehensive overview of the Swiss sanctions regime and its impact on Swiss banks, including sanctions issued by the United Nations, European Union, and United States.

Participants will explore key terms, the nature and types of sanctions, and the contexts in which they are applied. The course also examines target groups for sanctions, such as individuals, legal entities, and states, and addresses the risks and legal consequences for financial institutions in case of non-compliance with the Swiss sanctions regime.
