Indigita has launched a new e-Learning on KYC Corroboration Duty in the Financial Sector

Indigita SA is proud to announce the launch of their newest e-Learning course on KYC Corroboration Duty. The new training is designed to help financial professionals understand and fulfill their AML due diligence obligations. The course focuses on assessing, verifying, and documenting the legitimacy of clients’ funds and transactions, which are crucial steps to ensure compliance and prevent financial crime.

 

 

Participants will gain the knowledge to identify potential risks, prevent financial crime, and contribute to a culture of compliance within their institutions.

The course provides essential knowledge on key areas of AML due diligence, including:

  • Applying Material Obligations: Learn how to implement KYA, KYC, and KYT requirements and properly communicate with MROS.
  • Verifying the Legitimacy of Funds: Understand how to assess financial flows to detect and prevent potential links to criminal activity.
  • Executing the Corroboration Duties: Practice clarifying client information, collecting supporting documents, evaluating plausibility, and maintaining proper records.
  • Identifying and Mitigate Key Risks: Recognize the administrative, criminal, and civil consequences of failing to comply with AML requirements.
  • Using Public Sources Effectively: Conduct due diligence using tools like Google, OpenCorporates, and official registers to support your assessments.
  • Navigating the AML Legal Framework: Apply knowledge of AMLA, AMLO, the Swiss Criminal Code, and internal policies to ensure full regulatory compliance

This course is ideal for client-facing professionals, compliance officers, and risk managers in the financial sector involved in onboarding, transaction monitoring, or AML reporting.

This training will take approximately 30 minutes to complete and concludes with a final assessment to validate participants’ learning progress. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate recognized by SAQ – Swiss Association for Quality.
